Après means “after” in French.

Prima Après is the marriage of Italian

where it began

The story of Prima Après traces back to when its co-founders, James Vitrano and Abney Harper, met as classmates at Tulane Law School.  Post law school, both Abney and James left their law practices for the restaurant industry, James as a restaurant executive and Abney as a chef/restauranteur.  The couple re-met 15 years later at a restaurant finance conference.  Now married and also business partners, Prima Après is born of the couple’s combined passions - Abney’s love of meringue, fresh pasta and interior design, and James’s passion for restaurant scale and growth through corporate and franchise sales.
